New chief for Sense appointed

The head of an RNIB special school, and author on visual
impairment issues, has been appointed the new chief executive of
deafblind charity Sense.

Dr Tony Best, a Sense trustee who has helped design
multi-disabilities services in Africa and the Far East, replaces
Rodney Clark who retired after 20 years’ service with the
charity.
