More care trusts selected

A further eight care trust pilots have been
selected to join the initial list of nine announced in July,
Community Care can reveal.

Two care trusts will be set up in Birmingham,
one covering mental health and the other learning difficulties.
Three separate care trusts will be operated in Wiltshire, although
their client groups have yet to be confirmed.

Northumberland, New Forest, and South East
Hertfordshire will accommodate the other three trusts. Details of
their remit are not yet known.
