Inquest finds prison neglect a factor in suicide case

A second inquest into the suicide of a prisoner with
schizophrenia in Wandsworth prison has ruled that the prison’s
neglect contributed to his death.

The inquest at Westminster coroner’s court ruled that Keita
Craig hanged himself while the balance of his mind was disturbed
and that neglect contributed to his death.

Last February his family had won a high court action for a
second inquest to determine if neglect or lack of care had been a
factor.
