Sarah Payne trial halted due to`irregularity`

The jury in the Sarah Payne murder trial has been discharged due
to a `procedural irregularity`.

The trial of Roy Whiting from Littlehampton, west Sussex, at
Lewes crown court has been halted by the judge.

Whiting has denied abducting and murdering Sarah in July last
year.
