Protect children from parental abuse

The Children Act 1989 has gone too far in
promoting the interests of parents over children, according to
two-thirds of visitors to Community Care‘s website.

A coalition of charities has called for the
act to be changed to provide more protection to children of abusive
parents.

the House of Commons health select committee into claims that
