Former social worker faces rape charges

A former social worker has been charged with nine counts of rape
on six different girls under the age of 16.

Ian Taylor from Walgrave, Northamptonshire, has been remanded in
custody to appear at Northampton crown court on 13 September.

The offences are believed to have taken place while Taylor was
employed by Northamptonshire council as a residential care worker
in a children’s home between 1985 and 1990.
