Brothers receive ‘indefinite’ orders

Indefinite antisocial behaviour orders have been awarded for the
first time to three brothers from Dartford, in Kent. Damien, 17,
Daniel, 15, and 14-year-old Darren Brown were issued with the
orders by Dartford Magistrates’ Court.

The three, who have together been arrested more than 40 times, now
face prison if they commit any acts of criminal damage or if they
are offensive, abusive or threatening within an area around Stone,
in Kent. Damien and Daniel were also ordered not to commit any acts
of alcohol abuse.

If they do not appeal within 21 days, the boys will have to serve
the minimum two-year period for an ASBO before they can appeal. If
the boys never appeal and if North Kent Police does not return to
court to remove the order, the ASBOs will remain intact
indefinitely.
