Livingstone’s plan for children

London’s 1.62 million residents aged under-18 have been invited
to contribute their opinions to the Mayor’s children and young
people’s strategy.

The Mayor Ken Livingstone recently published the public
consultation draft of the strategy calling on the views of those it
will effect.

The strategy aims to put children and young people’s best
interests at the centre of policy making and to promote inclusion
and equality amongst young Londoners. A ‘child-friendly’ version of
the strategy is available and the consultation ends on 31
July.
