Contact 01273 623222 or info@pavpub.com

Aimed at anyone who wants to organise groups of older people on the
topic of complementary approaches to good health, this is a well
paced training pack, which provides a wide range of information,
writes occupational therapist, Susan Warner. In addition to the
excellent handouts, the pack provides straightforward advice about
how to organise sessions and lists of useful contacts.

There are useful reminders for the session leader, including
planning ahead, the need for “guest speakers” to attend some
sessions and prompts for reading on the subject. There is
sufficient flexibility in the session formats for the material to
be adapted to suit both the group and the group leader’s preferred
style. This is the style of training tool that can become a
resource in itself.

diagnosis and for an increase in specialist school provision for
children with autism. With film footage of autistic people of all
ages, viewers are reminded that autism is a lifelong condition and
seeks to reassure parents that when their child is diagnosed with
autism, they are not alone, giving useful sources of support,
