Pauline Young has become the Wales Trustee of the
Family Fund, an organisation that helps families with severely
disabled or ill children.

Anna Coote, currently director of health policy
with the Kings Fund, is joining the Healthcare Commission as head
of engaging patients and public.

The mental health charity Maca has appointed Anne
Beales as its first director of service user involvement.
Beales was formerly the director of the Capital Project Trust in
West Sussex.

Bob Fryer is taking up the new post of national
director for widening participation in learning at the new NHS
Institute for Learning, Skills and Innovation.
