ON THE MOVE

Stuart Brook, director of social services at Nottingham Council,
has decided to leave the council at the end of March after 10 years
of service. He has not yet announced his next career plans.

The Cabinet Office has announced three new appointments to the
Better Regulation Task Force. Adrian Askew, general secretary at
the trade union Connect, Lynne Berry, chief executive at the GSCC,
and Simon Murphy, chief executive at Birmingham Forward, will
contribute towards trade union, consumer and European regulation.
Victoria Younghusband, partner at law firm Lawrence Graham LLP, has
been reappointed to the task force.
