On the move

Communications consultant Peter Heaton has
taken up an interim management role with Cumbria social services to
oversee communications and a change management programme to improve
the authority’s zero star rating.

Sheffield Council has appointed Cath Roff as
acting executive director of social services.

Malcolm Philip is the new workforce development
director at the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health.

Addie Stevenson, project manager of Supporting
Frontline Staff at the Association of Directors of Social Work,
will be taking up a new post in April as director of children and
family services for the Aberlour Trust, a Scottish voluntary
organisation.

The North East London Mental Health Trust recently appointed
Jane Atkinson as its new chair.
