National Social Services Conference
Changing lives: building futures
The National Social Services Conference 2005 will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Wednesday 18th October until Friday 21 October.
The event will have three main strands: services for children, services for adults and building connections – an integrated approach to work with children and adults.
Key speakers include Patricia Hewitt, health secretary, children’s commissioner Professor Al Aynsley-Green and the new president of the Association of Directors of Social Services Julie Jones.
