The National Social Services Conference 2005 will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Wednesday 18th October until Friday 21 October.

The event will have three main strands: services for children, services for adults and building connections – an integrated approach to work with children and adults.

Key speakers include Patricia Hewitt, health secretary, children’s commissioner Professor Al Aynsley-Green and the new president of the Association of Directors of Social Services Julie Jones.
