Ensure people in the community are more aware of services available along with ensuring more resources.

Name one thing that would make your life better?
Being debt-free.

Adaptable, thoughtful, comical.

What event most changed your life?
My father’s death.

Has any government policy ever benefited you personally?
The social inclusion agenda.

One thing would you ban?
The word religion – it categorises people.

What is your greatest achievement?
When I left rehab I set up a project called “I dared to say no” offering help and support to other organisations working with people with addictions.

What makes you happy?
That I am now at peace within myself and I have control over myself.

When did you last cry?
I found something my father had written years ago which felt like he was writing it to me now.

What is your favourite expression?
It’s your journey not mine.
