Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep

The Sun reports that a builder has been hit with Britain’s first “trees Asbo” for not trimming the branches in his back garden. Eamonn Greenwood, 52, of Colne, Lances, has to trim his 18ft Leylandii and Cypress Trees after complaints from neighbours. The ‘tree lout,’ aptly-named Mr Greenwood, called the whole thing “silly.”

The Daily Mirror finds that toddlers at an Oxfordshire nursery are now learning Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep after the traditional nursery rhyme Baa Baa Black Sheep was considered in breach of equal opportunities policies. “Just a thought,” the paper quipped, ”How many rainbow-coloured sheep is a child likely to encounter in his or her life?”
