My wife Christine, and a pair of binoculars (spare me the obvious joke…)

Who inspires you and why?
Graham Hicks – a lifelong friend who is deafblind, who has navigated his way through immense challenges.  

What is your favourite place in the world?
My back garden on a spring evening, glass of wine – the perfect counterpoise to a hectic lifestyle.

If you were on death row what would your last meal be?
Sausage & egg roll, washed down by a really good bottle of wine

Humphrey Bogart

What is the best present you have ever been given?
Surprise weekend in Paris – with excellent company
