Mother sent to prison for supplying drugs to son

A woman was jailed for nine years today for supplying heroin and crack cocaine to her son.

Emma Kelly, of Heathfield, East Sussex, was convicted of two counts of supplying class A drugs to her son, two counts of child cruelty, and six other charges involving theft, deception and attempted deception.

The role of East Sussex Council in the case was referred to in court, and it was due to make a statement on the issue today.
