Social care on the agenda for Patricia Hewitt’s online Q&A

Health secretary Patricia Hewitt will be responding to questions about the impact of demographic change on social care online on 8 February.

She will be tackling issues being considered as part of the government’s current policy review, in a web chat on the 10 Downing Street website that starts at 10.45am and will last for an hour.

The policy review was announced last October and is considering the major challenges facing public services including demographic change and rising public expectations.

Visitors to the website can submit a question before and during the web chat.
