Countdown to Care Space

A whole new networking and information sharing area dedicated to social care professionals is coming soon to communitycare.co.uk

Care Space – the online community for social care – will launch on communitycare.co.uk in late November.

A recent survey of social care professionals conducted by communitycare.co.uk found that 85% felt a discussion forum or networking area were an important component of a social care website.

Respondents said they would use a discussion forum to source information, exchange good practice and keep in touch with colleagues.

Care Space will allow users to do all these things. You will be able to ask questions of fellow professionals, post information about your own project and build links with other people around the country doing a similar job to you. Or you could simply chat and share opinions with like-minded professionals.

Users will also be able to log on using a nickname, allowing you to talk freely about any issue that takes your fancy without being identified.

And Care Space will feature a blog area, where you can keep the world updated on your latest musings by posting your own blog or reading and responding to blogs by other social care professionals.

There will also be an area where you can upload photos of people, events or projects.
