He’s got the rhythm and the rhymes: the social work rapper

Social work and rap are two things that should never be mixed, you might think.

Well, here is a video on YouTube that might prove you wrong or profoundly right depending on your point of view.

With lyrics such as “I do crisis intervention to relieve my clients’ tension” and “I advocate what’s fair, I don’t preach, I present and share” this rapping social work teacher cannot help but fire up his students.

Some would suggest this sort of thing could only happen in America, the heartland of rap. But surely there is a British social worker prepared to stand up, take the mic and prove we can bust those urban flavas this side of the pond too?
