Rotherham’s Leaving Care Service: 2009-2014

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Children and Young People’s Services for the delivery of Rotherham’s leaving care service 2009-2014.

This service provision is to establish, develop and maintain a range of accessible services and support networks for care leavers under the provisions of the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and Children Act 1989. It will provide these young people with the highest standards of support as they enter adulthood and ensure they are provided with and able to respond to, social and economic opportunities .

The award of contracts will be determined by a restricted tendering process, with the Contract  being awarded to the organisation which, following compliance with the requirements of the Invitation to Tender, offers the price, technical assistance and technical merit in accordance with the weightings specified within the Invitation to Tender.

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified organisations with experience of working with children and young people.  Organisations wishing to express an interest should apply in writing for a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire from the Commissioning Manager, Children and Young People’s Services, Rotherham MBC, 2nd Floor Norfolk House, Walker Place, S65 1AS.

The closing date for the expression of interest is the 1st April 2008.

Those organisations that successfully complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire will be issued an Invitation to Tender the week commencing the 2nd June 2008. Those organisations that are unsuccessful will be informed in writing.
