Haringey settles case with child protection whistleblower

Haringey Council this week agreed to pay a senior social worker who had claimed children were being left at risk an undisclosed sum.

Nevres Kemal, who was a senior social worker at the north London council, had claimed seven children had been put at risk by being left with an alleged abuser.

At an employment tribunal in Watford this week, the council negotiated a settlement with Kemal.
