Warning: Scam invoices

A number of Community Care customers have received bogus invoices from organisations trying to deceive current print and online advertisers using the Community Care brand.

These bogus invoices are typically sent through the post and include a copy of a print/online advertisement that is supposedly due to appear in Community Care. The letters are followed up with a telephone call pushing for payment.

We wish to confirm that Community Care and Reed Business Information have no connection with these organisations. We urge advertisers and customers of Community Care and other Reed Business publications to be extra vigilant when being chased for any payment.

To help you and your customers identify bogus payment demands:

* All Community Care invoices will carry the Reed Business Information Limited logo and company details

* RBI do not chase for payment over the phone unless there are arrears on the account

If you have any concerns or queries around requests for payment then please contact the sales team on 020 8652 8870.
