Community Care is to host a free webinar where readers can learn more about the findings of its major research project into the social work jobs market.

The online seminar will delve into the results of research into how more than 2,000 social workers feel about their jobs as well as recruitment and retention practices in the profession.

The study, carried out in conjunction with TMP Worldwide, found that almost one in 10 social workers is actively looking to leave the profession and that 37% had bad experiences when applying for social work posts.

Those taking part will be able to discuss the findings and gain valuable insights into social worker attitudes towards recruitment, retention and job-seeking behaviour.

The webinar will be hosted by Community Care editor Ruth Smith, Reed Business Insight’s research manager Heather Macleod and TMP Worldwide managing director Robert Peasnell.

Click here to sign up to join the free webinar, which takes place on Thursday 27 November at 6pm.
