Tendering Opportunities at Hampshire County Council

Tender 1 – Mental Health Housing and Support Service

HCC are looking for suitable providers to deliver a new model of housing and support services to people with mental health problems in Hampshire. Services will be delivered across Hampshire but divided into 3 geographic lots. The full range of services, from crisis services (Stage 1), to wellbeing and recovery (Stage 2) and into community support will be included in each contract and providers will be expected to deliver and manage the whole housing and support pathway. Providers will be expected to be able to manage the accommodation based elements of the service, stage 1 and 2 as well as being able to deliver community support services in an innovative and localised way.

The contract will be for a period of three years, with an option to extend for up to a further period of 2 years.  The maximum budget available for the tendered service is £2,054,000.00 per annum.  Anticipated contract commencement will be 1st April 2016.

Tender 2 – Advocacy Service

There are currently four separate local authority contracts for advocacy and two spot purchasing arrangements in place in Hampshire. Hampshire County Council is bringing together adults and children’s statutory and non-statutory advocacy and two additional contracts for which NHS England is responsible. These services are being brought together into a single contract on behalf of Adults and Children’s Services, the five Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS England. Hampshire County Council Adult Services will be responsible for commissioning and monitoring the contract on behalf of all the funding organisations.

The contract will be for a period of two years, with an option to extend for up to a further period of 2 years. The maximum budget available for the tendered service is £1,074,336 per annum (excluding any optional extension period). Anticipated contract commencement will be 1st April 2016.

Closing date for the submission of tenders is 2:00pm on 12th November 2015.
