Hampshire County Council invite suitably experienced providers to tender for the provision of Extra Care Services in Hampshire. The services will provide social care and personal care services within a number of Extra-Care housing schemes to ensure the wellbeing of residents (including those with dementia) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing non-institutional, personalised services and delivering planned and unplanned care during the day and at night.

Service providers will work to ensure people do not need to move to alternative higher level statutory services (such as residential care, nursing care or hospital admissions) but instead are enabled to choose to remain living in their home.

The services tendered will be in 2 lots: The contract term for LOT 1 (Eastleigh) is for a maximum of 4 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years and 7 months (+1 year +1 year + 7 months). The anticipated commencement date for the contract is 1st March 2017.

The contract term for LOT 2 (New Forest) is for a maximum of 4 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years and 6 months (+1 year +1 year + 6 months). The anticipated commencement date for the contract is 31st March 2017.

The maximum annual budget available for the 2 LOTS combined will be up to £2,449,062.66 per annum.

Interested organisations will be required to register with and apply through Hampshire County Council’s online tendering opportunities portal: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/

Expressions of interest for AS09245 Eastleigh & New Forest Extra Care must be made using In-Tend from Thursday 18th August 2016 with a deadline for submissions of 2.00pm, Tuesday 27th September.
