Community Care needs your help in our campaign to stop the negative coverage of social work in some sections of the press.
An Early Day Motion has been tabled in Parliament in support of the campaign to back social workers and we need you to contact your MP to ask them to sign it.
The Motion, tabled by John Hemming MP, begins: "That this House supports Community Care magazine in its campaign for support for social work; recognises that recent inaccurate media attacks on social work have damaged morale in the profession;"

The EDM follows our petition to the Prime Minister, calling on the Sun to end its negative media campaign, which you can sign yourself.
Community Care has also written an open letter to The Sun about its coverage of social work in the aftermath of the Baby P case.
