The General Social Care Council has placed a five-year warning on the record of a social worker for failing to declare a conviction for drink driving.

A General Social Care Council conduct committee found Laura Lee, of Wolverhampton, guilty of serious misconduct but said the five-year admonishment was a reflection that her actions had not harmed service users.

Her record will be open to inspection by employers and service users, but she has a right to appeal against the decision to the Care Standards Tribunal.
