Summer photo competition: Winner announced

Tuesday 18 September 2007 15:37

Today we are pleased to announce the winner of our summer photo competition for 2007.

Jean Blewitt will be awarded an i-Pod shuffle for her entry into the competition entitled “Discovering the joys of growing vegetables in the garden”.

Web editor Clare Jerrom said: “I was absolutely amazed by the standard of entries into this year’s competition. There were so many deserving winners and the web team had a real struggle selecting our winner.

“We eventually chose Jean’s picture mainly for the absolute amazement on the child’s face at growing vegetables – the photo captured it all.

“I would like to thank everyone for sending in there photographs to the competition this year and good luck in future competitions,” she added.
