An agency social worker accused of making uninvited sexual advances towards strangers during a night out in Birkenhead faces misconduct charges at the General Social Care Council.
Darren Mason, who was employed through Liquid Personnel as a social worker with Salford Council, allegedly approached men and women in Argyle Street, Birkenhead, at about 3am on 10 April 2008 and invited them to engage in "sexual behaviour".
He is also accused of displaying his social services identity card at the time, a conduct committee will hear.
Mason's employment at Salford Council was terminated on 15 April 2008 and he was dismissed by Liquid Personnel soon after.
