Climbie social worker denied place on register

Wednesday 20 December 2006 00:00

The social worker at the centre of the Victoria Climbie case has been refused registration with the General Social Care Council.

Lisa Arthurworrey, who was Victoria’s allocated worker, applied in September 2005 after she won her appeal to be removed from the Protection of Children Act list.

She now has three months in which to lodge an appeal with the Care Standards Tribunal.
