The Scottish executive has published its first ever report on drugs misuse. The Annual Report on Drugs Misuse details the initiatives undertaken by the executive, the drug action teams and statutory bodies.
There are some 55,800 problematic drug misusers in Scotland, one of the highest population ratios in Europe. Over the next two years, the executive has provided an additional £128 million to develop or extend examples of good practice.
