The House of Commons health committee is to conduct an inquiry into delayed discharge problems, including access to home and intermediate care.
Organisations and individuals wishing to contribute evidence to the inquiry have until 21 January to do so.
The committee chaired by David Hinchliffe MP will also look at the situation in hospitals.
