Small majority feel codes help practice

Fifty-five per cent of respondents to Community Care's online poll believe new draft codes of conduct will help them improve their practice.

This week's question asks: In view of the crisis in care home provision should the national standards be relaxed?

Conservative party leader Iain Duncan Smith tabled an early day motion in the House of Commons calling on the government to scrap its proposals for new standards for care homes. To vote go to www.community-care.co.uk
