Majority want more pay for specialists

Fifty-eight per cent of the visitors to Community Care's website agree with the local government employers' submission to the Pay Commission that the key to tackling the recruitment crisis is to boost the pay of managers and specialists rather than non-professional staff.

This week's question asks: Should social workers be allowed to opt out of working with same-sex adoptive couples because of their religious beliefs?
