The first inquiry into self-harm among young people in the UK was launched at the House of Commons on Tuesday.
Jointly run over two years by the Mental Health Foundation and the Camelot Foundation, the inquiry will research the incidence, causes and treatment of self-harm among 11-25 year olds. The UK has the highest self-harm rate in Europe.
