Securing a voluntary job with the National Autistic Society after 15 years at home being a mother.

Four days ago when my son had a tantrum and broke the car’s indicator lever off.
Whom do you most admire?
My friend Sylvia, who raised her own three children and three disabled children.
What is the most important lesson you have learned?
To listen. We all need someone to talk to when life gets too much.
What do you want for Christmas?
Respite care for my 10-year-old son but as there is no chance of that I’d love a befriender from the National Autistic Society.
