Antisocial families will be given a “last chance” to turn around their behaviour under measures announced this week, writes Maria Ahmed.
Home Office minister Hazel Blears set out a range of options for intensive rehabilitation for more than 1,000 parents.
Blears promised a £1.25 million cash boost for family support for 50 “antisocial behaviour action areas” under the government’s TOGETHER campaign.
Intensive parenting programmes currently operate in 10 TOGETHER trailblazer areas.
