www.disabledparentsnetwork.org.uk
STAR RATING 4/5
This is not a good-looking or "flash" site, but it does contain an
enormous amount of useful information for disabled people who are,
or hope to be, parents, writes Sarah Baalham.
The "atmosphere" is positive and supportive, with parents sharing
their experiences and advice; a discussion forum; and details of
the Disabled Parents Network (DPN) telephone and e-mail
helplines.
There is useful information for parents about how to gain support
from social services, and advice on welfare benefits.
