Iain Cuthbertson, the social inclusion worker at Quarriers.

How would you run care services in your area differently?
People with learning difficulties should all live in their own homes and not share with other people.

What three words best describe you?
Happy, helpful and direct.

What event most changed your life?
My two brothers dying. This was very difficult for me as they were so young.

How has the state benefited you?
The Same as You? document from the Scottish executive gives people the right to say what they feel about things.

What is your favourite book and why?
The Story of the Titanic. It made me cry.

What is your greatest achievement?
Having my own house and independence.

What makes you happy?
My friends, my boyfriend David and playing in the netball team for the Special Olympics.

What cause would you fight for?

Rights for people with learning difficulties and breast cancer research.

How would you like to be remembered?
As a happy person who fought for people less fortunate than myself.

What is the most important lesson you have learned?
To fight for something you believe in and admit when you were wrong
