Suicide rates among men have fallen for the sixth consecutive year, according to figures released today.
The male mortality rates for suicide fell from 152 per million in 1998 to 125 per million in 2004, the Office of National Statistics study reveals.
The suicide mortality rate for women has remained steady at 41 per million since 2001.
