An unnamed social worker who allegedly did not disclose a full criminal record when registering with the General Social Care Council is due to appear before the regulator's conduct committee at a one-day hearing today (Thursday).
Last month, Anthony Peter Jacks became the first social worker to be struck off the register for misconduct, over his relationship with a 14-year-old service user.
Another social worker, Yvonne Doyle, of Darlington, was suspended from the register for two years for advertising herself as an escort.
