A social worker from Wiltshire who failed to adhere to her employer's absence reporting procedures has been admonished by the General Social Care Council.
After a four-day conduct hearing in London last week, a conduct committee decided Gloria Eaton should have the caution attached to her entry on the GSCC's register for 30 months, after finding her guilty of misconduct.
The committee found her actions could have caused serious harm because she failed to report a breach of a bail condition involving a vulnerable child, and had initiated telephone contact with a 15-year-old service user six months after being dismissed by Wiltshire Council.
