The government today launched a consultation on how it can measure progress towards achieving equality for disabled people by its target of 2025.
It wants disabled people’s views on what equality means to them in a consultation that will run until 9 May, and will be run by the Office for Disability Issues.
The office was launched in 2005 to help achieve the 2025 target.
The launch coincides with the publication of several reports by the Disability Rights Commission on improving outcomes for disabled people over the next decade.
