Scottish Social Services Council seeks children's day care workers for conduct committee

Posted: 11 March 2007 | Subscribe Online

The Scottish Social Services Council is looking for people working in children’s day care to help decide issues of conduct and registration affecting their fellow workers.

It wants practitioners and managers to serve on its sub-committees for children’s day care services, which decide whether staff should be registered and adjudicate on allegations of misconduct.

The time commitment is up to 12 days per year, and expenses are paid, including an attendance fee, though people related to or closely associated with anyone working at the council cannot apply.

Email selena.graham@sssc.uk.com to apply by 6 April.
