The human rights of adults with learning difficulties are to be investigated by an influential group of MPs and lords.
The joint committee on human rights is calling for evidence on whether the rights of adults with learning difficulties are being respected, particularly in healthcare settings.
It will examine whether the government needs to do more to improve access to services and ensure people are not discriminated against in their communities.
