Can’t tell you who she is, but a cruise yacht would do fine for us
Who inspires you and why?
Young people in care who are trying to achieve – they are diamonds struggling to survive and make sense of a pretty cruel world
Where is your favourite place?
In winter, the Kerala coastline with its sunshine, warmth, azure sea, white sands, palm trees wafting in the breeze, and a population that is engaging, literate, fun and has the most educated young people in South Asia.

Which celebrity would you want to play you in a film?
Me, of course
What was the last CD you bought?
Probably Carol King’s Tapestry, which floats in the nostalgia of my misspent student years
What are you reading?
An incredible, almost fantasy-land tale, but probably true - my friend’s income tax accounts
