Community Care wants to know your experiences of dealing with financial abuse of older people.

Anecdotally, it’s taking up increasing amounts of social workers’ time and efforts to resolve the crimes are often thwarted.
Just last week, a care home owner was jailed for 12 months for stealing from residents with learning difficulties.
Caroline Jane Rice was entrusted with looking after the financial affairs of people living at Dove House, Leicestershire but stole more than £1,200 of their money.
Contact natalie.valios@rbi.co.uk with your views, examples and suggested solutions to financial abuse of service users.
Community Care will analyse the problem and offer guidance in a forthcoming issue of the magazine.
