Torfaen County Borough Council would like to invite organisations with experience of delivering domiciliary care to submit tenders to provide care services within the Borough. Services will be predominantly for older persons but organisations will need to demonstrate they are committed to delivering care to adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health issues, and organisations must be registered to provide care to children.
Organisations must be registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales and have a proven track record in providing care services to vulnerable people within their own homes and that they are capable of meeting the service specification while able to meet and exceed the quality standards set by the Council.
There will be a contract awarded for a total of 52000 hours per annum. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with a proposed commencement date of 01 February 2008, with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
