This is the fourth and possibly final volume in the interesting series edited by Martin Calder about young people who sexually abuse, writes Andrew Durham. 

This one has 20 chapters written by 38 contributors, providing a UK and international (US, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand)
perspective. All the authors are renowned practitioners and academics from this specialist field.

This is not necessarily a volume to be read cover to cover and, as with previous volumes, the editor has continued to allow contributors to use varying terminology. The chapters in themselves are therefore best considered as standalone papers.

There are two chapters covering issues of diversity, and another discussing application of the Good Lives Model, arguing for strengths- and competence-based practice.
 
There is also an informative chapter on emerging personality disorder drawing together and summarising a range of research, two short chapters on learning disability, and one exploring sexual offending and new technologies.


The result is a book offering a range of interesting, relevant and up-to-date material of interest to practitioners wishing to
work holistically with young people who sexually abuse.
